Aughlisnafin GAC Notes For 6 January 2014

The club are now actively seeking a new manager for our senior ladies team with Wayne Pickering stepping down after two seasons in charge.

We thank Wayne and his backroom team for their time and efforts. Expressions of interest in the post should be emailed tosecretary.aughlisnafin.down@gaa.iexa0by Friday 24xa0January. The ladies team have been in the process of re-building over the past two seasons and with the younger players coming through they are well capable of mounting a serious challenge for success in the coming season.

There are a few copies of the Down GAA Yearbook, signed by Benny Coulter, remaining priced at £10. First come, first served.dn_screen

The club have 20 Down GAA Club draw tickets which they must sell. They are £120 each. For every ticket after 20 that are sold the club receives £96 so if you can purchase one it will go along way to help finance the running costs incurred by the club. Some members may want to join with others in a syndicate and so if interested in a part share please email the secretary expressing interest in doing so.

The 49 Club winner this week is Denis Fegan (8).

Lotto 19, 21, 25, 28. No numbers matched. Betty Smyth was the £20 draw winner. Jackpot £6,600.
