Thieves Steal Lead From National Trust Property Roof Near Dundrum

POLICE in Newcastle are appealing for information following the theft of almost £300 worth of lead from the roof a National Trust property.dn_screenThe cottage at Dundrum Road was targeted sometime between 25 October and 31 October.xa0The thieves also caused more than £3000 worth of damage to the roof in the process of stealing the lead flashing. Police investigating this crime are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with information. They can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
