Too many people have been forced to make a choice between heating and eating. “I would encourage those on lower incomes to apply for the free home insulation from Power NI. Improving your home’s energy efficiency can result in savings of up to £150 on energy bills every year. It does not make any sense for people to be spending so much on energy bills, only for money to be wasted through insufficient insulation. “The freezing weather conditions that we have witnessed in recent winters has shown the importance of being able to properly heat your home.”
