OGribin Welcomes Leitrim Play Park Approval

Sinn Féin councillor Pól OGribin has welcomed the granting of planning approval for the building of a new play park in Leitrim village.

Speaking following the passing of planning permission, Councillor OGribin said:xa0“This play park will be an invaluable facility for the residents of the Drumgooland area, which currently has a serious lack of recreational facilities for the many young people who live locally.

“Having continually pushed to ensure that this play park was built, it is finally great for me to hear the good news that it will be provided. I also want to thank my party colleagues Caitríona Ruane and Chris Hazzard who helped greatly in securing the park.

“It is my understanding that the park will be built within the next few months and I look forward to its completion for the people of Leitrim and the surrounding area.”
