Saintfield to Stage Summer Fair and Fun Run

THE xa0Saintfield summer fair and fun run will be staged this year on Saturday 8xa0June from 11.00am to 2.00pm around the village square. The day is a community celebration for Saintfield summer fun and entertainment to promote community cohesion, cooperation and development.dn_screen

Saintfield Committee spokesman Brian Gamble said: “The focus of the event will be the fun run, with a 4km course for adults and 1km for children over the Demesne fields adjacent to the Saintfield Sports Club. Registration will be at the Orange Hall from 11.00am. Entry fee is just £5 per runner and families are welcome.

“A variety of stallholders will be there to tempt you with their wares and an exhibition of art from local artists will be on display and for sale.

“There will be live music and a troupe of local dancers will be performing.”
