During this event, a member of staff from the Heritage team will be on hand to highlight the free online Local History resources available to use in finding out more about the history of your area.
Library members can make use of these resources for free, including the JSTOR Ireland Collection which includes contents of journals of Irish interest from the eighteenth to twentieth centuries and DIPPAM (Documenting Ireland: Parliament people and Migration) which contains online virtual archives of documents and sources relating to the history of Ireland and its migration experience from the eighteenth to  late twentieth centuries.
