Police Seek Information After Downpatrick Assault

dn_screen At approximately 10pm, a 24-year old man was walking in the Killough Road area when a car stopped. The man was bundled into the car by two men and was believed to have been driven to the Dillin Road area where he was assaulted. It is believed that the car could have been a dark coloured 7-seater type vehicle. The man required hospital treatment for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact CID in Downpatrick on 0845 600 8000.
