The U-16 girls got their league campaign of to a winning start on Sunday beating Bosco 4-13 to 0-03. This was a great team performance, with eight different players getting on the score sheet. Excellent defensive display from all the defenders, in particular from Aisling McCann, Niamh Mc Donald and Ashlinn Boden who all had solid games. Mairead Mckibben and Sophie Louise Clarke dominated from the start in their new midfield role and also scoring a goal and point respectively Up front all six forwards got on the score sheet, the talented Cushla Savage was the top scorer with (2-04).
