Court Nets Illegal Annalong Fisherman

Man fined for fisheries offences A County Down man was fined a total of £450 plus costs for fisheries offences at Newry Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 16 April). Robert Dornan of Shore Road, Annalong, was convicted of : * xa0Fishing by unlicensed and unfair means; * xa0Use of a fixed engine within one mile of the defined river mouth and * xa0Use of monofilament net. He was fined £150 for each charge, plus costs of £250, court costs of £20 and an offender levy of £15.]]>
