Johnston Calls For Roads Damage Audit After Cold Spell

dn_screen Councillor Johnston said: “During the recent spell of bad weather more and more damage has been caused to the roads infrastructure within the district. “The constant gritting of the road combined with sub-zero temperatures have meant thatxa0pot holes have developed. While I understand that DRD Roads Service have no control over the weather and must be thanked for the good work that was done in recent weeks, I feel it is essential that all the roads in the district are audited to ensure that any damage is repaired as soon as possible. “I would call on the Roads Service to continue the excellent work they have carried out thus far and I would like to thank them for their efforts during this difficult time for both them and road users.”]]>
