7-9pm on Thursday 14 March and a good crowd is expected. Una Ferguson, Chairperson of the FOHF said: “Since setting up a few years ago we have raised around £14,000 for the school to buy equipment and pay for school visits and generally support our children. “We are having another fundraising drive and the pamper evening will be great fun. There will be a good number of stalls there with everything from hats and handbags and you will be able to get your nails done, have a facial or a makeover, a head massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and enjoy many other treatments from our range of alternative therapists and beauticians etc on hand. “The cost is only £3 per adult and £1 per child. And tea is included in this. It will be a superb social evening and and opportunity for local people and those even further away to meet up and try out some of the treatments etc on offer. Later on in April, FOHF we will be continuing their fundraising trail holding a fashion show in the Downpatrick Cricket Club and this will be a ticket only event. The Ginger Jay Boutique from Saintfield is sponsoring the fashion show as main sponsor. Una Ferguson added: “We are delighted at the support that our local and the wider community has shown towards the FOHF and will continue with our fundraising while really makes a difference to our pupils in the school.”
