RGU Club Notes

Down Club Draw took place on Sat night in Canal Court and already RGU had its first winner with RGU and Down Senior player, Damien Turley “scooping” a cool grand. We wish to thank all those who bought a ticket, your assistance to the club is much appreciated writes John Murphy. It was a good start for the Juvenile Girls on Saturday at Ballymote. 20 girls trained under the watchful eyes of Jenny, Kyla and Brenda. Please spread the word, all girls welcome from P4 upwards to those born in 1999. Training every week at Ballymote at 12.30pm on Saturdays. Training schedule for Ballymote on Saturday; U-6’s Boys and Girls at 10.30am, U-8’s Boys (P3 &P4) at 11.30am, Girls U-12, & U-14 at 12.30pm, U-10 Boys (P5 & P6) at 1.30pm. Bring a water bottle and a £1 please. All parents please ensure that contact details are left with one of the mentors. We are looking for more handball coaches to help with the work load. Our handballers are doing well and we want this to continue. Handball Foundation Training courses are available for anyone who wants to help, contact Ciaran Cunningham (07528260062) for further information. Membership fees for the year 2013, are now due, and should be paid before 28xa0February 2013. Letters will be sent out shortly to all members, or contact Registrar Roisin Polly to arrange payment. Fees are £35 for adult, £25 for juveniles and £5 for U-6’s. Reduced rates for more than one child.
