Peter Shirlow, Senior Research Fellow of the Institute for Conflict Transformation and Social Justice at Queen’s has produced a significant body of research in the fields of political violence, post-conflict transformation, policing and community and inter-community conflict and segregation. His expertise has been used in work in Montenegro, Iraq, Israel, Palestine, Turkey, Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia as well as Northern Ireland.
