Live Longer and Save a Fortune… Stop Smoking

THE South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust will be running axa0new stop smoking support group that will start in the New Year especially for people who have had a diagnosis of cancer.

A Trust spokesperson said: “”We know that cancer treatments can be more effective for people who do not smoke and of course quitting will be good for overall health. With the big price increases on tobacco recently, there are also financial benefits to stopping.

If this is a first attempt, or if you have tried before without success, then this is the group for you. The Trust understands the challenges of stopping, but xa0its aim is to make the process as enjoyable as possible for you.

“The sessions run on Thursday afternoons at the Signal Centre in Bangor starting on the 10 January 2013 at 2pm. Tea and coffee will be provided and partners/family are also welcome.”

For more information or to book a place please contact Shirley McClelland (Smoking Cessation Co-ordinator, South Eastern HSC Trust) on Tel:xa0 (028) 9151 1134.
