Pride in Practice in Social Work Strategy Launched by Trust

THE Director of Adult Services with the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, Brendan Whittle, joined the Mental Health Social Work Forum to launch the Trust’s ‘Pride in Practice’ Social Work Strategy.xa0 The focus of the forum was ‘leading the way’, with discussion on how mental health services can lead the way in promoting personalised care in Northern Ireland.

An information session and lively discussion highlighted the commitment of mental health social workers in championing personalisation for mental health service users.

At the launch of ‘Pride in Practrice’ were Tony McCusker, Lead Social Worker Mental Health, Pat McAuley, Governance Advisor, Brendan Whittle, Director of Adult Services, Tracey McVeigh, Learning and Development Coordinator for Mental Health, Marianne Johnston, Mental Health Social Worker, and Karen Howell, Chair of the Approved Social Work Panel.
