Strangford Playgroup After Schools Club Organises Pamper Evening

THE Strangford Playgroup After Schools Club has organised a pamper evening for the ladies around Strangford.

The even organised by Rebecca Hynds at The Cuan restaurant was well attended as ladies queued up to sample the treatments. Rebecca said: ‘We are fundraising for equipment for the after schools club and the main items we want to purchase are a new TV and a Wii. We have around 17 children altogether in the playgroup and 20 in the after school club.

“Altogether we sold 40 tickets which entitled everyone to a choice of two treatments. It has been really well taken up. They can have their nails done, get an Indian head massage, have a facial or browse over the jewelery and other stands that are on display. We also had a raffle and Avon donated a beauty basket. xa0It has really been a very enjoyable evening.”
