Kyle Receives Award from Rugby Stars

KYLE Morrow (11), from Ballynahinch, was presented with a certificate by Ulster Rugby players Lewis Stephenson and Callum Black at the Centra Ulster Rugby Summer Camp at Ballynahinch RFC recently in recognition of his playing skills.

Kyle joined dozens of other local children at the five day camp to learn new skills and meet visiting rugby heroes. All participants received a Summer Camp boot bag with T-shirt, Rugby ball and a voucher to claim a free ticket to an Ulster Game at Ravenhill.

Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, sponsored by independent retail group Centra, took place at fifteen province-wide locations this summer and catered for more than 1,000 children.

While most of the Summer Camps were for children aged 6-12, the ever popular Senior Camp aimed at boys and girls aged 13-17 years old with previous rugby experience and focusing on the technical, tactical, physical, mental and lifestyle aspects of Rugby Union also ran out of the University of Ulster, Jordanstown in August.
