Down District Council Launches BuddyCard Scheme

“I feel it is important to help maintain the individual’s dignity and independence when using leisure facilities and our scheme now allows a ‘Buddy’ to accompany them and if necessary use the same facility or activity free of charge.” Down District Council’s Leisure Services look forward to welcoming more disabled users to the district’s leisure centres as a result of the introduction of the BuddyCard Scheme.
