The training will be delivered at SERC’s award winning Environmental Skills Centre in Newtownards. What is Safety Passport training? CCNSQ Safety Passport Training is the agreed safety qualification needed to access all UK and EU industrial engineering and construction sites. It is also known in the industry as UK Safe Pass or Client Contractor National Safety Group. This qualification gives the individual more knowledge regarding their workplace, how to work safely without risk to themselves or others, therefore decreasing the likelihood of injury. After successful completion of a two-day training course individuals are awarded a ‘Safety Passport’ which is valid for three years. ECITB (Engineering Construction Industry Training Board) administer this initiative through their network of approved training providers and by holding a central database of all cards/passports issued.
