Bright GAC Notes

LOTTO numbers this week are 4, 11, 21 and 22. One £50 winner with three numbers. Next weeks jackpot will be £1600 and the draw will take place in the Ann Boal Inn. U-16 Cillbreactain had a great win over Carryduff in the Championship last week. A combination of good solid team play along with Andrew McMenamin in fine scoring form ensured victory in a fairly fought encounter. Seán Cultra, John McLeigh, Paddy Mageean and Eoin King battled throughout to keep the game flowing and to come back from behind by one point at half time to win by 31 points. Well done boys. U-14’s were unlucky to lose to Castlewellan on Monday night in what was most definitely a cold and drenching encounter! It was good to see the supporters being prepared to get cold and sodden cheering the team on though. Conor Burns, John Burns, Declan Trainor and Niall Patterson played really well this week. Senior training – Friday night at 7pm. All players must attend this to prepare for the Championship quarter final on Sunday in Leitrim at 3pm. We’re calling on everybody to come out and get behind your team’s campaign for Championship victory. Anybody wanting to order a hoody, please contact Ollie Burke to place an order.]]>
