Launch Of Walk To School Week

Walk to School Week (16-20th May 2011) is a Department for Regional Development Travelwise NI initiative, supported by Airtricity, a new home electricity supplier in Noorthern Ireland, and they are encouraging more people to consider the health, financial, social and environmental benefits of walking.

Over 225 schools across Northern Ireland take part in Walk to School Week and buses, cars and bicycles are left behind is this ‘health drive’.
