Sharvin Calls For Additional Killough Social Housing

SDLP Council candidate Gareth Sharvin has made representations to the Department of Social Development regarding the shortfall in social housing in Killough.

Killough is a lovely peaceful village with a great sense of community. There is a low turn over of Housing Executive houses in the area.

“Many local people are keen to live in the community and raise their family there but are spending increasing time on the waiting list for housing.

“I have made strong representations to the Department for Social Development to request the Housing Executive and Housing Associations review waiting lists in Killough with the objective of a new build housing schemes in the area,” he said.
