Ruane Supports Anti-Bullying Stance At Shimna

“The Department of Education works in close partership with statutory and voluntary organisations to address bullying in all its forms. It is for this reason that it plays an active role in and funds the local Anti-Bullying Forum xa0(NIABF) which has established a number of working groups., one of which specifically considered the issue of homophobic bullying. The working group produced a fact sheet for teachers which is available on the NIABF website www.niabf.org.uk [caption id="attachment_21795" align="aligncenter" width="400" caption="Education Minister Caitriona Ruane MLA pictured with pupils from the Shimna Integrated College during a discussion on bullying and homophobia.
