Ardglass Notes by Paul O’Shea. Ardglass GAC @ 40 Ardglass GAC was formed in 1971 by several committed Gaels to provide Gaelic Games in the Parish of Dunsford and Ardglass. Therefore in 2011 Ardglass will be celebrating its 40th anniversary. To celebrate this the Committee will be holding several celebratory events, including football tournaments all various levels and some social events, more details next week..

New Monthly Draw

Since 2003 Ardglass GAC have been running a Monthly Development draw to help meet the costs of the Ardtole Development. This month the committee will be re-launching and re-vamping the draw. The monthly entry fee will remain £10 per month however the prize fund will be increased to – First prize £300.00, Second Prize £100.00 and Third £100.00, Committee members will be actively selling tickets throughout March, entries can be paid via standing order monthly, or monthly, quarterly / annually in cash/Cheque. U-10 and U12 details will be confirmed next week Pre St Patrick’s Day Pub Quiz There will be a Pre St Patrick’s Day Pub Quiz in the Old Commercial Bar at 8.30pm on Wednesday 16th March. The Quiz will be a fun and challenging night’s Craic, and a great way to get your St Patrick’s Day celebrations started

Membership fees 2011

Memberships for 2011 are due before 31^st March; All Players must be paid by this date to be eligible to play in 2011, while all members must be paid by this date to be eligible for Championship ticket allocation and AGM voting. Down GAA Race Day @ Downpatrick The Club currently have tickets for sale for the Down GAA race day @ Downpatrick Racecourse on Sunday 27^th, tickets are £20.00 which includes entry and race card, entry into draw for 40 pairs of seated tickets for Armagh v Down on Saturday 28^th May, £5 or each ticket goes to the club.]]>
