French Exchange Students Welcomed In St Patrick Centre

“I hope that our visitors have had the opportunity to discover the beauty of County Down, learn about its rich and varied history, and experience the great warmth and hospitality that the district has to offer.” Councillor O’Neill presented each of the students with a xa0certificate in recognition of their hard work and participation in the programme. Joining the French students at the St Patrick Centre were Ann Clarke, Head of French at Shimna Integrated College and their hosting partners from Shimna College. This very succcessful programme which ios now in its fifth year gives students n opportunity to perfect their language skills, gain vocatiexperience and increase their cultural awareness.
