Brew and Blossom food trailer at Clough hits the spot on a cold Autumn day
Victoria Ward has taken on a new venture. She has set up in a well-equiped food trailer in the front yard at Joseph Walls DIY, Agriculture Paint And Gardening Centre on the Ballydugan Road near the Clough roundabout.
“I just opened up 2 weeks ago and already there has been a steady stream of customers which is encouraging. I worked in a cafe in Crossgar for 10 and a half years so I’m pretty well experienced in working with food and beverages. My younger sister Chloe helps out too.
“We are in a great location in Joseph Walls yard. They are closed on Sunday’s but we are hoping to reach out and cover different events and I’d certainly be interested in chatting to anyone about this. They can reach me on 07713716353.

“Initially I’ve had to set quite a simple menu but there is a great range of toasties from the Classic, and Three Cheese (mozarella, cheddar and red Leicester. the more spiced up Tikka Melt with chicken, and The Veggie with cheese, red onion and tomato.
“The dessert bowls are very popular. We have the Berry Bliss, Choco Hazlenut Dream and Nutty Tropical Crunch.
“And to top all of this there is a wide range of coffees and iced teas. We also have tea, hot chocolate milkshakes, and flavoured steamers and other beverages.
“So call in and enjoy a tasty bite. We are there six days a week near the Clough Roundabout on the Downpatrick road.”
