Maxol Clough Service Station wins Store of the Year Award

Maxol Clough is celebrating after securing a big win at the annual Maxol Excellence Awards hosted at the Merchant Hotel in Belfast recently.

The annual scheme promotes and rewards excellence in station and store standards, customer experience, and community engagement across the Maxol network.

Standards are assessed through store audits by regional managers and the team from head office, along with mystery shopper visits and reviews of each store’s local community engagement, which includes fundraising activities for Maxol’s nominated charity, Guide Dogs NI.xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0

In 2024, the store proudly raised over £4,500 for various charities through a range of community events, including bucket collections, coffee mornings, and spin-a-thons. One dedicated customer advisor even went the extra mile by participating in the London Marathon to support the store’s fundraising efforts.

Additionally, the team extends their generosity to the wider community by donating Easter eggs and selection boxes to residents of Orchard Grove Care Home.xa0
