Sum of cash stolen in Newry burglary

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary in the city yesterday, Thursday 17th April.

Detective Sergeant Lewis said: “We received a report at 10.30am that a resident in the Loughorne Road area had returned to his property to find that the back door had been forced open and the property ransacked.


“A sum of cash was missing.xa0

“The burglary is believed to have occurred between 9.30am and the time of report, and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at that time and may have noticed anything suspicious to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 502 of 17/04/25.”.xa0
