Downpatrick Burglary Sparks Police Appeal

Police seek information about possible burglary at a Downpatrick residence

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at residential premises at the Strangford Avenue area of Downpatrick on Thursday 23rdxa0January.

Detective Sergeant Lewis said: “Sometime between 4:15pm and shortly after 10:45pm, it was reported that entry was gained to a house in the area.

“Damage was caused to the back door window and the property was ransacked.

“It was reported that a sum of money and a number of designer handbags were taken during the incident.

“Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, to contact them on 1808 23/01/25.xa0
