Come Visit The Annacloy Pumpkin Patch To Help K9 Dogs

Sunflower Cottage in Annacloy is holding a pumpkin pick and carve event opver next two weekends

The Sunflower Cottage, Annacloy, is holding a Pumpkin Patch event over the next two weekends (Saturday and Sunday 19th and 20th, and 26th and 27th October) with all proceeds going to the K9 Search and Rescue NI team.

You can find Sunflower Cottage on your right as you head down the Loughinisland Road as short distance coming off the main road at Annacloy – watch out for the big straw bales!

There will be spooky fun and treats are promised for all the family. Pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, colours as well as expert pumpkin carvers will be on hand to turn every pumpkin purchased into a work of art and keep the children smilling through the Halloween season.

K9 Search and Rescue dogs and their handlers will also be present over the weekend.

The K9 Search and Rescue NI charity specialises in providing certified area search and victim recovery dogs for accident and disaster response. 

All K9 dog handlers are volunteers who provide their own dogs and train several times a month. They pay all related expenses for feeding, veterinary care, travel, and equipment.
