Hollywood Newcroft Lodge Residents Get Spring Boost

Spring has sprung in Holywood’s Newcroft Lodge Care Home after visit from Ark Open Farm

Spring was certainly sprung and is in the air at Newcroft Lodge in Holywood, County Down, with the arrival of a number of baby animals from the Ark Open Farm in Newtownards.

Baby chicks, bunnies and lambs brought joy to the residents as they were able to hold and help feed them as part of the memorable day.

“The residents were delighted to see and feed the baby lambs, chicks, bunnies and guinea pigs.”

Demi said: “It was amazing to see the residents light up and get involved with the animals.

“The staff from the farm were fantastic and very patient, taking their time with each resident individually.

It has been amazing to see the staff team so proactive at organising activities, they go over and above day and daily for our residents.”
