Pedal For Pudsey A Success At Asda Downpatrick

Asda Downpatrick ‘Pedal for Pudsey’ in aid of BBC Children in Need

Colleagues from Asda Downpatrick raised £1,125 for BBC Children in Need through a ‘Pedal for Pudsey’ challenge.

Over the last 22 years, Asda and BBC Children in Need have been in partnership, raising over £28 million for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Linda Owens, ASDA Downpatrick Community Champion, is delighted at the support received for the Children In Need Appeal.

Colleagues cycled on static exercise bikes for 3 hours in store to raise vital funds and awareness for the charity.

Linda Owens, Asda Downpatrick’s Community Champion, said: “The team at Asda Downpatrick love taking part in fundraising for BBC Children in Need every year and we are always supported by our customers.

“It always amazes me to see how many of our colleagues join in to raise money for such a worthy cause, and to make a difference to the lives of the children who need our help.

“Thanks so much to everyone who donated and well done to the team who took part in the challenge!”
