Killyleagh Summer League Coming To End

presentation night this weekend writes Chris Hagan. Boys and girls who took part are reminded that the presentation night will be on Friday at 7pm at the Bridge Centre. Parents are asked to bring a packet of biscuits, buns or sandwiches for the party. A special prize of a ball signed by the Crusaders team that reached the Irish Cup final and finished runners-up in the Carling Premiership last season has been donated by Crusaders midfielder Aidan Watson who started his career in the Summer League. It is one of the prizes to be raffled on the night. Thanks to the parents who supported the junior boys and minor girls teams who took part in challenge games as part of Crossgar Youth League ‘s finals day. Special thanks to Paul Teggart and Eddie Craig, and all at Crossgar who provided every child with a trophy and goody bag, and made everyone very welcome. It was a day enjoyed by the children and their parents. Thank you also to the two managers, Stuart McCormick and Patricia Hamilton. Children who helped raise funds for Clic Sargent Cancer appeal for children are asked to turn up at The Showgrounds, Comber Road, this Saturday at 12.30pm for the official photo of the handover of the money. A total of £700 was raised for the charity at the football for all day run in conjunction with the Killyleagh branch of the Northern Ireland Supporters Clubs.]]>
